Mari Ovsepyan is an OCCA Fellow. Prior to coming to Oxford to study theology at Wycliffe Hall and do the OCCA course in 2014, Mari did her graduate studies in psycholinguistics in the US as a Fulbright Scholar. She also holds degrees in Linguistics and Teaching earned in Russia. Mari’s particular passion is reaching idea-makers in academia and the arts.
Her desire is to devote her life to building bridges between secular cultures and the Kingdom culture and clearing away the rocks on the way to faith. Mari’s dream is to see meaning restored and beauty redeemed in hearts as well as in the post-Christian secular cultures.
She is exploring the calling of an apologist, which is a journey of embracing the questions and loving the questioner in the mutual search for a deeper and more authentic understanding of the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
