Emerging Apologists Program
June 12-15, 2018
How can I respond to objections to faith? How can I share the gospel authentically and effectively? Am I called as an evangelist?
Jesus once spoke these words to his disciples: “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few” (Matthew 9:37). Today, in a society where confusion about God and challenges to the Christian faith abound, those workers are needed more than ever.
Perhaps you are someone who longs to share your faith, but you struggle to initiate meaningful conversation. Or maybe you love to talk about God, but you don’t know how to respond to your friends’ most challenging questions. Or it could be that you sense a calling to be an evangelist, but you want to explore more deeply what that might look like.
If any of those descriptions fit you, then we’d encourage you to apply to RZIM’s Emerging Apologists program, held at the Zacharias Institute June 12-15, 2018.
The week will be made up of teaching sessions from members of the RZIM speaking team, addressing common objections to the Christian faith and equipping you with the apologetic to respond to them. Q&A sessions with both the RZIM team answering your questions and you, the program participants practicing answering questions. You will also take part in preaching practice and be reviewed by your peers on the program and the RZIM team.
This program is specifically intended to identify and train a smaller, select group of emerging evangelists. If the idea of this kind of intentional mentorship excites you, then don’t miss out on the opportunity to be taught by Vince Vitale and other members of the RZIM US speaking team. To attend this conference you must submit an application. If you are accepted, the registration fee is $410.
