What is Founders’ Weekend?
The annual Founders’ Weekend is an opportunity for the RZIM team to minister to the heart, mind, and soul of our guests. Several hundred people gather in a beautiful setting with ample time to learn more about what God is doing through the ministry. Guests are encouraged, challenged, refreshed, and inspired by talks by Ravi and the global speaking team, through worshipful music, and rich time of fellowship. Founders’ Weekend is scheduled each year during the last weekend in October.
What is the cost?
The Davis Family Foundation has graciously underwritten a significant portion of the cost for Founders for accommodations Friday and Saturday.
Do I pay for my travel?
All guests are responsible for travel costs, including ground transportation to the hotel.
How is Founders’ Weekend funded?
Founders’ Weekend is primarily funded by a generous yearly donation from the Davis Foundation.
Is there any free time?
There is a limited amount of free time during Founders’ Weekend. Saturday afternoon is available for guests who wish to take advantage of the hotel or local attractions.
How many people usually attend?
About 650 guests, as well as RZIM staff members from around the world, attend Founders’ Weekend.
Will ministry resources be available for purchase?
An RZIM resource table will be present at all events during Founders’ Weekend.
What is the dress code for the weekend?
We suggest business casual for the afternoon and morning sessions, business or informal attire for Friday night’s dinner, and formal (black tie optional) for Saturday night’s dinner.
What is the expected giving level of a Founder?
The suggested Founders’ giving is $10,000.
